African Family Night!

African Family Night!

April 27th at the Midtown Global Market (Minneapolis)

Martin Akinseye of Simba Craftware and Books For Africa are proud to partner together on the Books For Liberian School Children Project. Martin hopes to raise $12,000 to send a full sea container of 22,000 books to Liberia.

Only 46% of Liberian children are expected to finish primary school (UNICEF). There is a great need for books to promote development and a brighter future in this West African country.

Help Martin achieve his goal of sending books to Liberia by celebrating African Family Week from April 21st-27th!

Honor Earth Day (April 22) by donating gently used books to Books For Africa. You can drop off book donations at the Simba Craftware stand at the Midtown Global Market all week.

Celebrate African Family Night on Friday, April 27th at the Midtown Global Market.  The Breck Marimba Band will fire up the celebration with live music starting at 7:00 PM. You can even enter a raffle to win door prizes! All proceeds will go toward the Books for Liberian School Children project with Books For Africa.
