Agnes Igoye to discuss halting human trafficking in Uganda, October 11, 2012
Please join us at St. Mark’s Church on October 11, 7:00- 8:00 p.m. to hear Agnes Igoye describe her work in halting human trafficking in Uganda, specifically:
- Learn about the success of the Chain of Hope in working with children who have been rescued after being sold into servitude, prostitution, and rebel armies (to learn more, watch this Chain of Hope video); and
- Raise money for a Books For Africa container for the children in the Chain of Hope program.
The school and reading books will help Chain of Hope educate children so they can become self-sufficient adults and contribute to their communities. BFA will supply text, reading, and agricultural books selected by Agnes.
