Another Warth Walk

Most 80-year-olds don’t put “walk across Zanzibar” on their birthday to-do lists.

But then, Tom Warth isn’t your typical soon-to-be-80-year-old.

“I just like to keep busy, you know,” Warth said.

Warth’s birthday isn’t until February, but plans are already underway for the Books For Africa founder to make a two-day, 20-mile trek across the African island, ending in the city of Stone Town.
