BFA’s Patrick Plonski Meets with Partners in Nigeria, Ghana, and Morocco

Books For Africa Executive Director Pat Plonski visited partners and potential partners in Nigeria, Ghana, and Morocco in January of 2010. His trip was covered by the largest newspapers in Ghana and Morocco.

Key meetings included the Chrome Group/Kaztec regarding a major partnership in Nigeria; USAID Nigeria; Akwa Ibom State; Rivers State; the Cross River Library Board; the African University of Science and Technology; the President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers; the President of the Ghanaian Society of Engineers; ExxonMobil; the U.S. Embassy/U.S. Peace Corps Ghana; Kosmos Energy; Opportunity International; the Ghana Library Board; the Ghana Book Trust; the Asunafo North Municipal School District; the U.S. Ambassador to Morocco; school officials and students in Ksar el Kebir, Morocco; and the Assilah Forum Foundation.
