Books For Africa Concludes Fiscal Year 2024 with Books Shipped to 31 Countries

Books For Africa concluded its Fiscal Year 2024 in June, having shipped 1.6 million books, and over 1 million digital books, valued at over $16 million, to 31 countries across the continent! We raised over $2.2 million to ship these books to partners across Africa!

Books For Africa received individual donations from 48 states, Washington DC, and donors around the globe. Minnesota lead the way at 956 donations, followed by Georgia (273), California (249) and New Jersey (149).

Our Georgia warehouse hosted approximately 10,000 volunteers this year. In addition to shipping out of Georgia, we also shipped books out of London, Montreal, San Francisco and India!

We also shipped 9 Law & Democracy Libraries and 357 computers and tablets to our recipients. Check out our fiscal year summary chart below for all the details!
