36,000 Books Delivered to Support Literacy in Botswana

Books For Africa was pleased to partner with a sponsor to ship a container of 36,000 books to Lowapi Study Centre in Botswana!

Earlier this year, Books For Africa was contacted by Bonolo Boitshwarelo, Director of the Lowapi Study Centre in Gaborone, Botswana. Lowapi supports the development of language skills and literacy, and provides services from workshops to assessments to tutoring. It also supports learners with disabilities. With the support of generous sponsors, Books For Africa shipped a container of books to support the Centre's efforts, and the container was delivered in August! 

This shipment also included two Little Free Library kits, for the Centre to try out in their community.
