Mary T Inc. Delivers 22,000 BFA Books to Primary and Secondary Students Throughout Cameroon

Mary T Inc., a healthcare company based in Minnesota, funded the delivery of over 22,000 BFA books and 15 refurbished computers to students at 24 secondary schools and 22 primary schools throughout Cameroon. One recipient school was the Margaret Tjosvold Nursery & Primary School in Santa, Bamenda, Cameroon, which opened in 2002.

A sea container with 585 boxes arrived at Douala seaport in January 2011. Noah’s Ark Cameroon and Heifer International Cameroon oversaw the book distribution. The students who received the books were told: "These books contain treasures that once you possess nobody can steal from you."

Dr. Valentine B. Lah of Noah’s Ark Cameroon said: “This was a very rewarding exercise which has made many schools to experience support they never thought possible, and staffs of both Heifer International Cameroon and Noah’s Ark Cameroon have enjoyed with much appreciation the participation in the program.”
