Giving Societies
Each year Books For Africa recognizes individuals and organizations for their outstanding support. BFA giving society donors are crucial to our mission, providing ongoing support for our efforts to end the African book famine.
Kilimanjaro Society
Kilimanjaro Society members support BFA’s mission by donating at least $1,000 annually. In addition to recognition in our annual report, Kilimanjaro Society members receive exclusive event invites, such as our Kilimanjaro Society Reception held annually in Minnesota.
Summit Society
Summit Society members support BFA’s mission by donating at least $5,000 annually. Summit Society members receive a high profile listing in our annual report, and are invited to attend our annual Summit Society Reception in Washington, D.C.
Legacy Society
Legacy Society members support BFA’s mission by including a charitable bequest to BFA in their will. Including BFA in your planned giving will leave a lasting legacy in the fight to end the African book famine.
Honorary Libraries Program
Books For Africa can help you establish a library in Africa in someone's honor or memory. This is a meaningful way to celebrate a special occasion, honor someone special, or memorialize a loved one. BFA will consult with you about current partners that can establish a your library in the country of your choice. Our recipient will provide a photo of your plaque in their library.
Please contact BFA Director of Development, Erin Moran, at 651-393-7051 or erin@booksforafrica.org with questions or for more information on any of BFA’s giving societies.
