Books For Africa has a long tradition of hosting large volunteer groups on MLK Day, and this year local media in Georgia turned out to hear more from BFA staff and the nearly 100 volunteers that joined us for this important day of service.

Last year, 10 years after its start, Lamin Dibba's 1 Million Books for the Gambia project celebrated having shipped literally 1 million books, ranging from children's books to college texts, to the tiny African country of 2.5 million.
