Books For Africa welcomed His Excellency Lazarus Amayo, Ambassador of Kenya to the U.S., at a luncheon Friday at St. Paul’s University Club, which was also attended by Congresswoman Betty McCollum. The luncheon celebrated BFA being named a preferred partner of the Department of Defense Humanitarian Assistance Program.

ChildFund, The Gambia on Friday donated three (3) 40foot containers of textbooks worth $1,083,840.00 to the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE) to support children’s education across the country.
Books For Africa recently welcomed a group of 24 young African leaders from 15 countries across the continent to our warehouse in St. Paul, Minnesota, where they met with BFA staff and board members and helped sort and pack books.
