Members from Verizon employee resource groups BRAVE (Black Resource Association of Verizon Employees), and BOLD (Black Organizers, Leaders and Doers of VZ Media) have been busy volunteering in 2020. So far, V Teamers from BRAVE and BOLD have logged more than 700 volunteer hours for organizations such as Junior Achievement, National Society of Blank Engineers, and Books For Africa.

Supporting Vulnerable Youth in South Africa

FHI 360's Capacity Development and Support (CDS) Program has been hard at work distributing a BFA shipment of about 40,000 books to vulnerable youth across five provinces in South Africa.  The books have been used to establish libraries, play centers and resource centers and to improve school resources for young people up to age 24.
