Her work and interest in supporting BFA was recently featured in the “24 Hours of Harvard” program, put on by Harvard’s Office of the Vice Provost of International Affairs. Books For Africa recently partnered with UPS for a project that resulted in nine containers being shipped to the African continent! UPS donated freight for the effort, which sent a warehouse's worth of books from North Carolina to the continent.

In 2013, a BFA-supported library project was launched in the town of Nedjo, in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. BFA recently received a report reflection nearly half a million library visits in the seven-year period since!
