In an unprecedented month of activity, Books For Africa has reached two major milestones! First, the 40 millionth book donated to Africa left our Atlanta Warehouse. Then, in quick succession, we saw our first ever containers depart to Mauritius, Seychelles, and Libya, bringing us ever closer to our goal of serving every country in Africa! In pursuit of our mission to end the book famine in Africa, we aim to reach children and students that would not otherwise have an opportunity to hold a book in their hands.

2017 marks year two of Books For Africa's enhanced post-shipment survey. This survey collects direct feedback from BFA recipients, allowing our team to assess where we have been most successful, and where there is room for improvement. Last year's report brought great feedback and information, and we are proud to have 100% of respondents agree that the books received are relevant to their programs!

Show someone you care by giving the gift of literacy! Honor a friend or family member this holiday season with a donation to Books For Africa, and we will send an e-card or handwritten note to your honoree letting them know that books are on their way to an African classroom in their name!
